DESCRIPTION:
(from Style's press release, July 2013) Style Media has signed a development deal with writers Graydon Sheppard and Kyle Humphrey to create a style-centric alternative format series based on their sensational web series "Sh*t Girls Say." The series will take the character made famous by their YouTube videos and have her explore the worlds of fashion, beauty and lifestyle through her unique and comedic yet universal point of view. With nearly 36 million views for the four online episodes and thousands of parody videos, "Sh*t Girls Say" started out as a Twitter account that humorously portrayed the way women talk to themselves, their friends or partners. From their first tweet "Could you pass me that blanket?" on April 7, 2011, "Sh*t Girls Say" has become a cultural phenomenon with almost 2 million twitter followers and the release of a book last October. Sheppard dresses in drag as the "girl" in the book and webisodes and Humphrey plays the role of the boyfriend.
