When "Primetime Live" asked viewers to submit their ideas for inventive new products, the response was overwhelming - a flood of hundreds of concepts for all kinds of innovative gadgets and devices. From this warehouse full of entries, experts from the Home Shopping Network -- where a clever idea can quickly translate into a fortune -- picked a handful of promising prospects. Jay Schadler follows six would-be Edisons, two of whom will get the ultimate sink-or-swim opportunity - twelve minutes to pitch their product live on the air. It could be the first step to riches, or the end of a dream if they can't convince viewers to buy, buy, buy. "Primetime Live" airs THURSDAY, APRIL 28 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Also: Heidi Raleigh is a wanted fugitive who has been on the lam for two years. Chris Cuomo meets her in hiding, where she tells him why she's taken flight - with her two young daughters. Raleigh claims her ex-husband, Derek Smith, has threatened to kill her, and she says she has the tapes to prove it. She alleges that Smith is an unfit father who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near their kids. Smith argues that Raleigh fabricated the threats and will do anything to keep him and his new wife away from his daughters. A judge has ruled that Smith should get full custody of the girls. "She can run forever, she can make up lies, she can do whatever," says Smith. "I'm not gonna give up on my daughters." Raleigh tells Cuomo she will, in fact, remain on the run forever if she has to, rather than give up her children.

And: Beatty Chadwick is just months away from serving the longest jail term in history for contempt of court, all because he will not - or cannot -- split several million dollars in marital assets with his ex-wife. Chadwick, a former Philadelphia corporate lawyer, tells Jim Avila he's broke, but a judge believes he's hiding all of that money. Chadwick claims that the ten years he's spent behind bars prove he's telling the truth. Ex-wife Bobbie Applegate claims Chadwick's frugality during their marriage - she says he even limited her toilet paper usage -- foreshadowed this unusual holdout.
