SEASON PREMIERE
ON THE TWO-HOUR SEASON PREMIERE OF ABC NEWS' "PRIMETIME," DIANE SAWYER EXPLORES THE COMPLEX ISSUES BETWEEN STEPPARENTS AND THEIR STEPCHILDREN, AND FOLLOWS TWO FAMILIES ON THE BRINK, AS THEY STRUGGLE TO FIX RELATIONSHIPS SPIRALING OUT OF CONTROL, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 ON ABC
When parents re-marry, the new-formed family's problems can become much more complicated - and unhealthy -- than anything ever seen on "The Brady Bunch." In the two-hour Season Premiere of ABC News' "Primetime," Diane Sawyer explores the complexities of the stepparent-stepchild relationship. Remarkable footage from small cameras placed inside the homes of two families on the brink reveals just how bad things can get between stepparents and their stepchildren - and how tensions can escalate into marital crises and even violence. Sawyer interviews experts who analyze the video and provide insight into tackling some of the serious problems many "blended" families face, on "Primetime," THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
DIANE SAWYER, CHRIS CUOMO, CYNTHIA McFADDEN and JOHN QUIQONES are the anchors of "Primetime." DAVID SLOAN is the executive producer.
