The bewitching Owens sisters, Sally (Bullock) and Gillian (Kidman), have always known they were different. In this wry and comic romantic tale, the sisters struggle to use their hereditary gift for �practical magic� to overcome a family curse on finding and keeping true love. The girls were raised by their eccentric aunts, Stockard Channing (�Life or Something Like It,� TV�s �The West Wing�) and Dianne Wiest (�I Am Sam,� TV�s �Law & Order�). And, now as adults, they must confront their legacy and the supernatural forces threatening all of the Owens women.
