"The Sister" � Samantha is shocked to learn that she has been kept in the dark about having an aunt (Christine Ebersole, Tony Award winner for "Grey Gardens") and a grandmother (Florence Henderson) because of a feud over a family heirloom between Regina and her sister. Meanwhile, Andrea's popularity with pro-basketball player Tony Dane's fans and teammates takes a dive as she is deemed a jinx when the team begins to lose their games every time she's in attendance, on "Samantha Who?," THURSDAY, JULY 9 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Samantha Who?" stars Christina Applegate as Samantha, Jennifer Esposito as Andrea, Kevin Dunn as Howard, Melissa McCarthy as Dena, Tim Russ as Frank with Barry Watson as Todd and Jean Smart as Regina.
Guest starring are Christine Ebersole as Amy, Florence Henderson as Loretta and McKinley Freeman as Tony Dane.
"The Sister" was written by Alex Reid and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.
"Samantha Who?" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,D parental guideline.
