TIM ALLEN RIDES HIS SLEIGH INTO YOUR LIVING ROOM ONCE AGAIN
TO SAVE CHRISTMAS, IN "THE SANTA CLAUSE 2," AIRING AS THE
"ABC SATURDAY MOVIE OF THE WEEK," DECEMBER 19
This holiday season Tim Allen returns in the hilarious sequel "The Santa Clause 2," airing as the "ABC Saturday Movie of the Week," DECEMBER 19 (8:00-10:00.m, ET) on the ABC Television Network (Rebroadcast. OAD 12/17/06)
Scott Calvin (Allen), a.k.a. Santa Claus, has two issues on his mind -- first, his mischievous son, Charlie (Eric Lloyd), finds himself on the naughty list due to bad behavior, and second, it appears -- according to the regulations -- that Santa Claus has to be married. Now Scott has to travel back home not only to help out his son but to find himself a wife.
While Scott's away, one of his elves builds a toy Santa to watch over things until his return to the Pole. And that seems to be working out well, until the pseudo-Santa gets hold of the rules book and gets it into his head that Santa and pretty much everyone else is in violation of the rules. He also takes the liberty of incorporating some of his own changes to naughty and nice.' Things go from bad to worse, and pretty soon Christmas itself is threatened. Now it's up to Scott to return with some new tricks up his sleeve in order to save Christmas.
"The Santa Clause 2" stars Tim Allen ("Wild Hogs," "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause") as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus/Toy Santa, Elizabeth Mitchell (ABC's "Lost," "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause") as Principal Carol Newman, David Krumholtz (TV's "Numb3rs," "Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny") as Bernard, the Arch Elf, Judge Reinhold ("Swing Vote," "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause") as Dr. Neil Miller, Eric Lloyd ("The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause," "Jesse") as Charlie Calvin and Spencer Breslin ("The Happening," "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause") as Curtis, The Experimental Elf.
