Meanwhile, Chloe (Michelle Trachtenberg) helps with wedding plans when a bride-to-be (Eva Amurri) comes in with the flu and receives a much more serious diagnosis. Sonia (Jaime Lee Kirchner) manages a defiant hand transplant patient (Michael Imperioli) who wants his donor hand amputated after discovering it once belonged to a pedophile and Dr. Sands (James Tupper) gets a surprise visit from his freewheeling sister (Jill Flint).
