FIVE REMAINING TEAMS FACE THEIR BIGGEST CHALLENGE YET WITH "INSTANT DANCE" ON MONDAY'S "DANCING WITH THE STARS"

John Legend and The Roots and Taio Cruz Perform on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show," Tuesday, November 9

"Dance Center" with Len Goodman, Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice Returns

"Episode 1108/1108A" - The competition grows tougher than ever this week on "Dancing with the Stars" when our five remaining couples will perform two individual dances, one ballroom number and one "Instant Dance" -- in which couples will have to master a Latin number to music they've been given for the first time and after the show's broadcast has begun, on "Dancing with the Stars," MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on ABC.

On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show," an eighth couple will be eliminated from the competition. The one-hour show will feature spectacular performances by John Legend and The Roots, Taio Cruz and piano prodigy Emily Bear. "Dance Center," with Len Goodman, Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice, will also return.

On Tuesday's Results show, John Legend and The Roots will team up to perform two numbers, "Wake Up!" and "Ordinary People." Recording artist, concert performer and philanthropist John Legend has won six Grammy Awards and was named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people. He launched his career as a session player and vocalist, contributing to best-selling recordings by Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z and Kanye West before recording his own unbroken chain of Top 10 albums - "Get Lifted," "Once Again" and "Evolver" -- each of them reaching #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts. The Roots have released nine acclaimed studio albums (including the recent "How I Got Over") and redefined the relationship between live instruments and hip-hop. Legend and hip-hop band The Roots began their collaboration in 2008, leading up to the election. A planned single became an EP, which turned into a full album project, "Wake Up!" The 11 songs on the resulting album�shot through with gospel, rock and reggae inflections, yet never losing a hip-hop attack�mix selections familiar ("Wholly Holy" by Marvin Gaye, "Little Ghetto Boy" by Donny Hathaway) and obscure (Baby Huey and the Babysitters' "Hard Times," "Hang on in There" by Mike James Kirkland).

Also this week, Taio Cruz will perform his chart topping single "Dynamite." 2010 is shaping up as the year of U.K. artist Cruz, who exploded in the U.S. with his first single on Mercury Records, "Break Your Heart," featuring Ludacris, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Both "Break Your Heart" and his second single, "Dynamite," have sold over 6 million copies in the U.S. alone and 10 million worldwide since the launch of Cruz's debut U.S. album, "Rokstarr." Cruz is a world renowned singer, songwriter and producer and has become the go-to producer and songwriter for an A-list of American and UK performers, including Leona Lewis, Ke$ha, Ludacris, Keri Hilson, Cheryl Cole and Flo Rida. In addition to writing and producing, the 25-year-old Cruz is an accomplished multi-instrumental musician. The son of a Nigerian father and Brazilian mother, he is founder and CEO of his own Rokstarr Entertainment Division (R.E.D.), formerly known as Rokstarr Music London, established in 2006.

Also on Tuesday's show there will be a performance by nine-year-old piano prodigy Emily Bear. A masterful pianist who was recently invited to play at The White House, Bear will perform with the "Dancing with the Stars" orchestra and will be accompanied by young ballroom dance champions Sophia Latessa and Tyler Golman (age 9) and Rickie Taylor and Erik Linder (age 10).

In addition, the fan favorite "Dance Center," with judge Len Goodman and "DWTS" alums Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice, will return on Tuesday's Results show. By evening's end, one couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges' scores and viewers' votes on dances performed on Monday's performance show. Who among the five remaining teams will be next to leave the ballroom floor?

· BRISTOL PALIN, teen advocate and Alaska's first daughter, and partner MARK BALLAS.

· KURT WARNER, former pro-NFL quarterback, and partner ANNA TREBUNSKAYA.

Hosted by Tom Bergeron ("America's Funniest Home Videos") and Brooke Burke ("Dancing with the Stars" Season 7 champion), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 30 minutes after the "Dancing with the Stars" performance shows. Wireless customers with AT&T may also text message their votes by texting the word "VOTE" to the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (message and data rates may apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast. Fans may cast the maximum limit of votes for each voting method.
