48 HOURS goes inside the investigations of two crime mysteries with unique family twists, in a Saturday night double feature, to be broadcast Saturday, July 16 (9:00 PM, ET/PT and 10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

At 9:00 PM, ET/PT, Troy Roberts and 48 HOURS go inside the investigation into the death of critically acclaimed swimsuit designer Sylvie Cachay and her ties to Nicolas Brooks, the son of an Oscar-winning songwriter, in an encore of "Death at Soho House." It's a case that ties the worlds of high fashion and entertainment and exposes deep family secrets about the songwriter behind the 1970s hit, "You Light Up My Life."

Sylvie Cachay was a rising swimsuit designer who had worked with the likes of Marc Jacobs and Victoria's Secret before launching her own line, Syla. But in 2010, she was found by a Soho House worker dead and partially clothed in an overflowing bathtub. Police noticed an empty bottle of prescription pills nearby, which raised the question of whether she killed herself or if it was an accident. However, the medical investigator on the scene spotted marks on her neck, suggesting she was strangled. Police also learned Cachay had checked into the hotel earlier with her boyfriend, Brooks, the son of Academy Award-winning songwriter, Joseph Brooks.

So, what happened at the Soho House?

Then at 10:00 PM, ET/PT, Maureen Maher and 48 HOURS report on the case of Dorothy Lee Barnett, who eluded the FBI for two decades after she fled the United States with her infant daughter in tow, in an encore of "Dear Savanna." In 1994, Barnett was in the midst of a bitter divorce with then-husband, Harris Todd. One day she and the couple's 11-month-old daughter Savanna vanished. The disappearance launched an international search for Barnett and Savanna that didn't end until she was arrested in Queensland, Australia, in 2013.

The case, which 48 HOURS has been covering since 1999, raises significant questions about parental child abduction, the issues that emerge in a bitter divorce and what penalties should be leveled on a parent who flees with a child after losing a custody case.

When Barnett fled her home in Charleston, S.C., she headed to Europe, where she spent time in Germany, France, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Botswana and then Australia. Barnett became Alex Geldenhuys and unbeknownst to Savanna, she became Samantha Geldenhuys. While they were on the run, Barnett also kept a secret diary for her daughter, planning one day to tell her the whole story of her life. That changed in 2011, when the FBI got a tip that Barnett was living in Queensland, Australia and in 2013, the FBI knockd on Barnett's door.
