LAURA AND NICO TRY TO STOP THE SERIAL KILLER SHE BELIEVES MEANS TO KILL SERENA, BUT THEY SOON LEARN THAT FATE HAS A BACKUP PLAN, ON ABC'S 'SOMEWHERE BETWEEN'

"Fate Takes a Holiday" - Laura and Nico try to stop the serial killer she believes means to kill Serena, but Laura also learns more about Nico's disturbing past. Meanwhile, Tom has secrets of his own and is worried that Laura will find out, on the "Fate Takes a Holiday" episode of "Somewhere Between," airing on TUESDAY, AUGUST 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

"Somewhere Between" stars Paula Patton as Laura Price, Devon Sawa as Nico Jackson, JR Bourne as Tom Price, and Aria Birch as Serena Price.

Guest cast: Catherine Barroll as Grace Jackson, Imogen Tear as Ruby Jackson, Noel Johansen as Danny Jackson, Samantha Ferris as Captain Sarneau, and Daniel Bacon as Glenn "Cupcake" Kupner.

The series is produced by Thunderbird Entertainment in association with ITV Studios America, with ITV Studios Global Entertainment handling international distribution. Based on a Korean format from SBS, the executive producers are Stephen Tolkin ("Brothers & Sisters"), Ivan Fecan, Joseph Broido, Tim Gamble and Matthew O'Connor.

"Fate Takes a Holiday" was written by Shelley Eriksen and directed by David Frazee.

"Somewhere Between" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.
