Back-to-Back Encore Episodes All Summer Long
Saturday, June 1
9:00 PM, ET/PT - Rodney Alcala worked as a photographer and a typesetter and was once a contestant on "The Dating Game." However, police say he was also a chameleon and a serial killer, perhaps the deadliest in the country's history, and investigators are unsure if they will ever know how many victims he left behind. Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigate Alcala's trail of murder in an encore of "Rodney Alcala: The Killing Game," to be broadcast Saturday, June 1 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+. 10:00 PM, ET/PT - Tim Bliefnick, a former contestant on the game show "Family Feud," was arrested, charged and convicted for the February 2023 murder of his estranged wife, Becky Bliefnick. When Becky Bliefnick was murdered, an answer her husband gave on "Family Feud" years earlier raised eyebrows. 48 HOURS has his only TV interview after a jury found him guilty. Bliefnick sits down with correspondent Erin Moriarty in an encore of 48 HOURS: "The Game Show and the Murder" to be broadcast Saturday, June 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.
