CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- To help viewers get accustomed to its new time slot this fall, FOX is moving "Boston Public" to Fridays at 9:00/8:00c this summer. Repeats of the drama will begin airing in the slot starting July 11.
Also giving "Boston" an assist will be "The Bernie Mac Show" which will temporarily move to Fridays at 8:00/7:00c that same date. Back-to-back episodes will fill the hour through August 1. Then beginning August 8, "Wanda at Large" will return to encore its first season at 8:30/7:30c.
To recap, FOX's Friday summer lineup will be as follows:
Four Fridays, (July 11, July 18, July 25, and August 1):
8:00/7:00c - "The Bernie Mac Show" (repeats)
8:30/7:30c - "The Bernie Mac Show" (repeats)
9:00/8:00c - "Boston Public" (repeats)
Fridays, beginning August 8:
8:00/7:00c - "The Bernie Mac Show" (repeats)
8:30/7:30c - "Wanda at Large" (repeats)
9:00/8:00c - "Boston Public" (repeats)
"Wanda" then moves to the lead-off 8:00/7:00c spot this fall when new comedy "Luis" takes over the 8:30/7:30c slot.
