CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Supersize episodes and special guest stars are two of the tactics NBC will use to lure viewers during February sweeps.
Here's a complete breakdown of what to expect during the key ratings period. (Please note that the following episode descriptions may contain spoilers for future storylines.)
NBC frontloads February sweeps with supersized episodes of favorite "Must See TV" such as "Friends," "Will & Grace" and "Scrubs" -- plus the season finale of "Ed" on February 6 as well as such marquee stars as Michael J. Fox, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Danny DeVito, Nick Lachey, John Cleese and Brendan Fraser.

Along for the adventure is Shrek's "noble steed" Donkey (voiced by Eddie Murphy), who battles alongside the ogre as he fights for the noblest of motives -- to rid his beloved swamp from unwanted storybook creatures in the hopes of living a happy and completely lonely existence. Making its network television debut, the animated tale will feature extra scenes deleted from the theatrical release as well as from the in-store DVD.
