CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- The WB has quietly announced it plans to move its freshman comedy "Like Family" to Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c beginning next week.
The series had been displaced from its regular Friday, 9:30/8:30c time period with the addition of the midseason comedy "The Help" this past weekend. "Family" will take over for "All About the Andersons," which has completed airing all of its first-run installments this season.
Here's how the Frog describes the first episode set to air in its new time period, "Women at Work":
A WOMAN'S WORK IS NEVER DONE Thanks to Tanya's (Holly Robinson Peete) coaching, Maddie (Diane Farr) receives a promotion at work, but her new job leaves her so busy she is unable to find time to help Keith (J Mack Slaughter) with his problems at school, so Tanya steps in to help. Jealous over Maddie's new status at work, Tanya starts to wonder if the time has come to return to her job as an attorney. Kevin Michael Richardson, Megalyn Echikunwoke, B.J. Mitchell and J. Anthony Brown also star. Barnett Kellman directed the episode written by Kenya Barris.
