LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- In a follow up to Monday's story about "Star Trek: Enterprise's" move to Friday nights on August 6, UPN announced today the series will now permanently reside in the Friday, 8:00/7:00c slot instead of the previously indicated 9:00/8:00c time period.
Encores of "America's Next Top Model," which had been slated for the 8:00/7:00c slot, will now air at 9:00/8:00c.

UPN announced today that it will change its previously announced Friday night line-up for the upcoming 2004-2005 season. STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE will now air Fridays from 8:00-9:00PM, ET/PT, and rebroadcasts of the latest cycle of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will air Fridays from 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT.
In preparation for the start of the new Fall season and to get the show's loyal fans accustomed to watching STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE in its new time, UPN will move its summer rebroadcasts of its "Star Trek" series to Fridays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) beginning on August 6, 2004. Until the new cycle of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL begins this Fall, UPN will feature rebroadcasts of various UPN programming beginning Friday, August 6 (9:00-10:00PM, ET/PT) through the remainder of the summer.
Fall premiere dates for all of UPN's new and returning series will be announced at a later time.
