JOE EARLEY NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT PUBLICITY, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND CREATIVE SERVICES FOR FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY
Joe Earley has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Publicity, Corporate Communications and Creative Services for Fox Broadcasting Company, it was announced today by Gail Berman, President of Entertainment for the network, to whom he will report.
In his new position, Mr. Earley, who was formerly Senior Vice President of the department, will continue to supervise all aspects of entertainment publicity and corporate communications, including the development and implementation of national publicity campaigns for FOX series and specials as well as the execution of business and tactical communications strategies on behalf of the network. In addition, he will now have oversight of the FOX Creative Services department, which, as FOX's internal corporate marketing, promotion and special projects arm, produces corporate print, multimedia, video, premiums programs and special event projects for Fox Broadcasting Company and other associated FOX and News Corp. divisions.

Prior to his promotion to Senior Vice President three years ago, Mr. Earley served for two years as Vice President, Entertainment Publicity for FOX, overseeing all aspects of entertainment publicity for the network's programming. He also spent several years as Director of Publicity for FOX, joining the network in 1994 as a Senior Publicist.
Before joining FOX, Mr. Earley spent three years in Media Relations at HBO, working on projects including "And the Band Played On," "Stalin" and "Witch Hunt." He began his entertainment career in feature film production and development for producer Gale Anne Hurd.
A native of Chicago, Mr. Earley received a bachelors of arts in mass communications from the University of California, Los Angeles.
