Over 400,000 Votes Were Cast In The Big Brother 5 "America's Choice" Poll
The Number One rated daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, opened its stage doors to a real-life schemer and backstabber when BIG BROTHER 5 HouseGuest Marvin Latimer was awarded a walk-on role on the soap opera, which will air Monday, Aug. 30.
Latimer was chosen via Big Brother's "America's Choice" poll in which over 400,000 votes were cast. He was brought to CBS Television City and appeared in scenes set at the Genoa City Athletic Club with longtime fan favorites Michelle Stafford and Christian LeBlanc, who play two of the soap's biggest schemers, Phyllis and Michael.
On the BIG BROTHER 5 live show, Thursday, Aug. 26, the winner was revealed to the audience, and the HouseGuests, deprived of any television since their sequestering, were able to view the episode.
Recently, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has welcomed several reality stars to Genoa City including Colby Donaldson from "Survivor," Robbyne Manning from "America's Next Top Model," and Reichen Lehmkuhl from "The Amazing Race."
