MISCHA BARTON, JIMMY KIMMEL AND CHRIS NOTH CONFIRMED AS PRESENTERS FOR THE 56TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS ON ABC

Awards Broadcast Live From Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium September 19

Mischa Barton, Jimmy Kimmel and Chris Noth have been confirmed as presenters for the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The show will broadcast live from Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET, Live / tape delayed in PT) on ABC.

Mischa Barton can currently be seen in FOX's hit drama series, "The O.C." Her other television credits include the Showtime feature "Frankie and Hazel," the Disney telefilm "Ring of Endless Light" and an eight-episode arc on ABC's "Once and Again." Barton has also had a very successful film career, with roles in "Octane," "Lawn Dogs," "The Sixth Sense," "Notting Hill," "Lost and Delirious," "Julie Johnson," "Skipped Parts," "Tart" and "Paranoid."

Jimmy Kimmel is the host and executive producer of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," as well as the co-creator, with Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison, of the hit series "Crank Yankers." His other television credits include Comedy Central's "The Man Show," which he co-hosted with Carolla, "Fox NFL Sunday" and Comedy Central's long-running game show, "Win Ben Stein's Money," which earned him two Daytime Emmys for Best Game Show Host. Kimmel's production company, Jackhole Industries, formed with Carolla and Kellison, also executive-produced "Windy City Heat," which recently won this year's Comedia Award at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.

Chris Noth recently wrapped his sixth and final season on the Emmy nominated HBO comedy series, "Sex and the City," where his portrayal of Mr. Big garnered him a Golden Globe nomination. His other television credits include the TNT Original film "Bad Apple," which he starred in and executive-produced, along with a starring role in the TNT epic miniseries "Caesar," five seasons as Detective Mike Logan on "Law & Order," and an appearance in the telefilm "Exiled." Noth has also enjoyed a successful film career, with credits that include "Cast Away," "Double Whammy" and the independent film "Searching for Paradise." He will next be seen in "Mr. 3,000" with Bernie Mac and Angela Bassett, and in "Mr. Perfect," starring Hilary Duff and Heather Locklear.
