Three Weeks of Episodes to Tape at the Kansas City Convention Center in April 2005
Culver City, CA-- September 17, 2004-- Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White was in Kansas City today to announce that "America�s Game" will travel to the "City of Fountains" for the first time ever in April 2005. The episodes, which will be taped at the Kansas City Convention Center, will air in May 2005.
Following her announcement, Vanna joined the Wheel of Fortune production team visiting various Kansas City-area locations to pre-tape segments for the May episodes, including the newly renovated Union Station, Ward Parkway, Meyer Circle, Nichols Fountain and the Country Club Plaza.
In April, Pat Sajak, Vanna White and the entire Wheel of Fortune production staff will be on hand to tape 15 episodes, over three days, before a local audience of thousands. A custom-designed set will be constructed at the Kansas City Convention Center and will feature images of the historic city and capture its unique flavor and all-American appeal.
