New Orleans to Turn Into 'Blue' Orleans

NEW ORLEANS TO TURN INTO "BLUE" ORLEANS

Burbank, CA - October 1, 2004

NEW ORLEANS TO TURN INTO "BLUE" ORLEANS

THE WB'S HIT COMEDY, "BLUE COLLAR TV" TAKES OVER THE HOUSE OF BLUES IN NEW ORLEANS FOR TWO EPISODES TO AIR ON OCTOBER 7 AND 14

DREW CAREY AND MUSICAL CHART TOPPERS BIG $ RICH TO APPEAR ON THE EPISODES

The WB Network's hit comedy BLUE COLLAR TV is bringing its distinctive brand of every-man humor to the home of Mardi Gras, jambalaya and the French Quarter. The next two episodes of BLUE COLLAR TV, airing on Thursday October 7 and Thursday, October 14 at 8:00-8:30 p.m. ET, will originate from the House of Blues in New Orleans.

Drew Carey will guest star in the October 7 episode. His new series, DREW CAREY'S GREEN SCREEN SHOW debuts on The WB on that same night at 8:30-9:00 p.m. ET. The two episodes will also feature musical guest stars Big $ Rich, who are nominated for three country music awards. They will act as the house band and perform two of their hits, "The Ballad of Big $ Rich" and "Kick My A**."

Taking full advantage of their surroundings, BLUE COLLAR TV will feature special sketches for the episodes. Stars Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry The Cable Guy visit the New Orleans School of Cooking and a palm reader. The cast parties on Bourbon Street and, in a ripped-from-the-headlines moment, the Redneck Word of the Day is "hurricane."

As series star Engvall asks somewhat rhetorically, "Where else can you shoot a scene AND have the wrap party at the same location? Only in N'awlins."

BLUE COLLAR TV is from Bahr/Small Productions and Parallel Entertainment in association with Riverside Productions, Inc., distributed by Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Fax Bahr ("Mad TV," "In Living Color," "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment"), Adam Small ("Mad TV," "In Living Color," "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment"), Jeff Foxworthy and J.P. Williams.
