OLYMPIC SWIMMING CHAMPION AMANDA BEARD MAKES A SPLASH ON "QUINTUPLETS" WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, ON FOX

Seven-time Olympic swimming medalist Amanda Beard dips her toe into the acting waters on QUINTUPLETS Wednesday, Nov. 24 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In this special Thanksgiving episode, "Thanksgiving Day Charade," Amanda plays an attractive Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer whom the quints' uncle, sports agent Steve Chase (Jason Priestley in a guest appearance), tries to sign.

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Beard won the gold medal and set an Olympic record in the 200-meter breaststroke, and captured silver medals in the 200-meter IM and the 4x100-meter medley relay. Beard also won a gold medal and two silvers at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, and a bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games. The Irvine, CA, native now lives in Tucson, AZ, with her two dogs and two fish and attends the University of Arizona, where she is studying retail and consumer sciences.

Raising a teenager can be a challenge. Raising five at once means all-out war. The quintuplets were a blessing for Bob (Andy Richter) and Carol Chase (Rebecca Creskoff) when they were first born an adorable gift of abundance, they graced many a magazine cover promoting everything from applesauce to condoms. Their teenage years, however, have been less than kind. The quints are no longer the precious little tykes they used to be. Now they are three boys and two girls of varying sizes, looks, intelligence and social skills. Torn between their dependence on each other and their need to develop their individuality, the quintuplets must deal with the problems of living their teenage years as one of five siblings and a part of this unique family.

QUINTUPLETS comes from Imagine Television and 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Mark Reisman. Mark Reisman and David Nevins serve as executive producers.
