The casting call yields two sets of castaways who each set sail in an S.S. Minnow toward THE REAL GILLIGANS ISLAND, not knowing that they will soon meet an identical cast of characters. Divided into Minnow Gold and Minnow Green, the castaways are shocked to meet their competition and to discover that each of the castaways competes against his/her character counterpart for a spot in the final cast of seven characters.
Castaways include:
Minnow Gold: Movie Star Rachel Hunter, Gilligan Chris OMalley, Skipper Bob Fahey, Millionaire and His Wife Glenn and Mindy Stearns, Mary Ann Kate Koth, and Professor Pat Abbott.

As reality sets in, exploring the island and searching for food are top of mind for the castaways. Over a feast of coconuts, the group gets to know each other. Controversy, humor and emotions flare as the diverse cast of characters share details about themselves. Finally a message from their only form of external communication, a radio, tells them to meet on the beach in the morning for their first competition. In an exciting game where teamwork and athleticism are essential, one team scores their first victory and wins luxuries to improve their life on the island. The losing team is faced with an unexpected situation that unifies the team.
The professors are up for their first competition in a test of intellect and survival skills. The winning professors team earns fishing gear and a fish to eat, which becomes an elegant beachfront meal.
Episode three airs Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) and features the Mary Ann and Millionaire competitions. With nerves running high, both Mary Anns prepare for their competitions, while one of them finds romance with one of the Gilligans. In a down to the wire contest, one Mary Ann prevails and enjoys a coconut cream pie with her Minnow-mates. Then the Millionaires go head-to-head in a competition that challenges their taste buds in an unusual way. The winners are treated to an open bar cocktail party complete with a steaming hot tub.
