COLIN FARRELL GUEST-STARS ON NBC'S 'SCRUBS' JANUARY 25
BURBANK -- December 8, 2004 -- Feature-film star Colin Farrell ("Alexander") makes his American primetime TV debut when he guest-stars in an episode of NBC's medical comedy "Scrubs" (Tuesdays, 9:00-9:30 p.m. ET).
Farrell will portray Billy Callahan, a life-loving Irishman, in an episode for broadcast on Tuesday, January 25.
"Colin is not only the quintessential good guy/big star, but he should definitely be doing more comedy," said "Scrubs" creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence. "He's fantastic."
Currently, Farrell stars in the title role of the epic film "Alexander," directed by Oliver Stone. Upcoming features include "The New World" and "Ask the Dust."
In addition, Farrell has starred in such films as "Phone Booth," "Daredevil," "S.W.A.T.," "Veronica Guerin," "Tigerland," "The Recruit," "Minority Report," "American Outlaws" and "Hart's War." The Irish actor also starred in the BBC series "Ballykissangel."
"Scrubs" is produced by Touchstone Television. Bill Lawrence ("Spin City") is the executive producer and creator.
