Usher Rings in the New Year with the World Premiere of his Mini-Movie, "Rhythm City Volume 1: Money, Power, Respect"
Brooke Burns from FOX's NORTH SHORE will join Ryan Seacrest to ring in the New Year on NEW YEAR'S EVE: LIVE FROM TIMES SQUARE WITH RYAN SEACREST Friday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX.
Burns will join Seacrest as they review the nation's favorite songs from "America's Top 40" and interview celebrities and musical acts from one of the hottest parties in Times Square. Also, in an exclusive World Broadcast Premiere ONLY seen on FOX, multi-platinum artist Usher, who this month walked away with 11 Billboard Music Awards, including "Artist of the Year," unveils his new mini-movie, "Rhythm City Volume 1: Money, Power, Respect," during the network's annual New Year's Eve special. The never-before-seen 20-minute mini-movie will feature four of Usher's hits, including "Seduction," "Caught Up," "Red Light" and "Take Your Hands," and a cameo by AMERICAN IDOL's Seacrest. The New Year's Eve special will also feature performances by Hoobastank and Evanescence.
Burns, who currently stars on NORTH SHORE as the smoldering Nicole Booth, began her acting career when she was cast as a regular in the cable series "Out of the Blue." Burns then relocated to Los Angeles and landed a role on the popular syndicated series "Baywatch," which led to the spin-off "Baywatch Hawaii," in which she starred for two years.
NEW YEAR'S EVE: LIVE FROM TIMES SQUARE WITH RYAN SEACREST is from Ryan Seacrest Productions in association with Tall Pony Productions. The special is executive-produced by Ryan Seacrest, Anthony Eaton and Dave Broome.
