LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:
LIVING WITH FRAN (The WB) - It's understood the Fran Drescher-led comedy will air on Fridays at 8:30/7:30c beginning in March although no specific premiere date has been set. "Fran" will take over for "Grounded for Life," which closes its run later this month.
N.Y.P.D. BLUE (ABC) - The Alphabet has quietly expanded the show's swan song on Tuesday, March 1 to two hours beginning at 9:00/8:00c.
SUMMERLAND (The WB) - As previously indicated (read the story), the series will return on Monday, February 28 at 9:00/8:00c, replacing "Everwood" for seven weeks. The Frog has now also confirmed that back-to-back episodes will air on April 11 and serve as its "season finale." The series will then go on hiatus until the summer, at which point it will return for the final five episodes of its 13-episode second season.
