Three Weeks of Episodes to Tape at the Las Vegas Hilton in January 2005
Culver City, CA�January 19, 2005-- Wheel of Fortune travels to Las Vegas, the "Entertainment Capital of the World," in January 2005 to tape three weeks of shows. The episodes will be taped at the Las Vegas Hilton for broadcast in February 2005.
In November, 2004, co-host Vanna White was in Las Vegas to announce that the show would be taping shows live from the Las Vegas Hilton. Following the announcement, Vanna joined the Wheel of Fortune production team at various Las Vegas-area locations to pre-tape segments for the February episodes, including Fremont Street, Monte Lago Harbor, Lake Las Vegas and hotels including the Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas Hilton.
From January 21-23, Pat Sajak, Vanna White and the entire Wheel of Fortune production staff will be on hand to tape 15 episodes, over three days, before a local audience of thousands. Wheel of Fortune will feature special theme weeks, including "Sweethearts Week," shows in which married couples are teamed together on Friday, January 21; "Las Vegas Week," celebrating the sights and sounds of the most dazzling city in America on Saturday, January 22; and "Big Money Week" on Sunday, January 23. A custom-designed set will feature images of the city and capture the unique flavor of the Las Vegas strip.
"No other city in America says excitement quite like Las Vegas," said Executive Producer Harry Friedman. "Bright lights, big money, big-name stars, and non-stop fun. Wheel of Fortune and Las Vegas are a perfect fit."

Wheel of Fortune, which entered its 22nd season on September 6, 2004, can be seen each night Monday through Saturday at 7:00 PM. on Channel 3, Where News Comes First.
