TIM VINCENT JOINS "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD" AS NEW YORK CORRESPONDENT

BURBANK, Calif. -- February 14 2005 -- Popular UK TV presenter Tim Vincent has joined the nationally syndicated entertainment newsmagazine show "Access Hollywood" as New York Correspondent, it was announced today by Rob Silverstein, Executive Producer of "Access Hollywood."

"Tim Vincent is a massive addition to the 'Access Hollywood' team," Silverstein said. "Tim has the smarts, the all-important attitude and his British roots allow him to bring an entirely fresh and unique storytelling ability to the show. Tim completes a murderer's row of talent, unrivaled in entertainment news. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect Valentine's Day gift."

"I'm truly excited to be joining the 'Access Hollywood' family," Vincent said. "Who knew that after running the New York marathon seven years ago for the BBC, I would be given the unbelievable opportunity to return to this amazing city and work for the best entertainment news program on television? I cannot say enough about Rob, Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell, who have been incredibly kind and supportive. I've hit the ground running from the moment I arrived and hope that continues for many years to come."

Vincent began his broadcasting career as the youngest-ever presenter on "Blue Peter," a BAFTA award-winning BBC children's program. He then moved on to BBC 1's "The Clothes Show" for two years while simultaneously hosting three seasons of the network's BAFTA award-winning show, "Short Change." In 2000, Vincent played an integral part of BBC 1's coverage of the Millennium New Year, being the first person to ever host from Wales to a worldwide audience while also completing 36 hours of live television coverage for the network.

From 2003-2004, Vincent hosted Sky One's smash hit "There's Something About Miriam" while also serving as host on Living TV's debut show, "I'm Famous and Frightened," which achieved one of the channel's highest rated shows. During this time, he was chosen to host "Access Hollywood UK," NBC's British version of "Access Hollywood," which also aired on Living TV. It was this exposure that led to Vincent's position as a special correspondent for the US version of the show in 2003. Recently, Vincent made the move from across the pond to New York City.

Vincent joins "Access Hollywood" during its ninth season. Co-anchored by Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush, the hit entertainment newsmagazine is taped on Stage 1 at NBC Studios in Burbank, California, where the show is headquartered. Weekend Co-Anchors and daily show correspondents are Tony Potts and Shaun Robinson. Rob K. Silverstein is the executive producer.

In addition to the Burbank newsroom of more than 100 dynamic producers, researchers and writers, "Access Hollywood" also maintains a fully staffed New York bureau and has producers and correspondents around the world contributing to its half-hour weekday and hour-long weekend editions. Seen in more than 95% of the country, "Access Hollywood" airs on major market affiliates, including the NBC Universal Television owned stations.

"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
