LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Just two days after its premiere, the WB is rethinking its "Starlet" strategy.
Sunday's premiere installment was seen by a miniscule 1.69 million viewers, making it the least-watched first-run program for the week of February 28-March 6.
In response, the Frog confirmed today the series will now permanently air on Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00c. Tonight's broadcast was originally intended to be a one-time-only airing, but will instead be its time period premiere.
New episodes are set to run through April 5, after which "One Tree Hill" will return to the slot for the remainder of its season on April 12.
Interestingly enough, "The Starlet" was initially slated to air on Tuesday nights (read the story) but had since been moved to Sundays (read the story).
As for its Sunday schedule, back-to-back repeats of "Charmed" will air at 7:00/6:00c and 8:00/7:00c beginning this week. New episodes of "Charmed" then will resume on April 10 at 8:00/7:00c.
