Golden Globe and Emmy Nominee Fran Drescher Joins the WB's Friday Night Line-Up in 'Living with Fran,' Premiering April 8

[via press release from The WB]

GOLDEN GLOBE AND EMMY NOMINEE FRAN DRESCHER JOINS THE WB'S FRIDAY NIGHT LINE-UP IN LIVING WITH FRAN, PREMIERING APRIL 8

Burbank, CA March 15, 2005

JOHN SCHNEIDER AND MARILU HENNER GUEST STAR IN EPISODE TWO OF LIVING WITH FRAN

DRESCHER ALSO MAKES A SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE IN WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU

Accomplished film and stage actress, best-selling author and comedy superstar Fran Drescher (The Nanny) is the star and executive producer of The WB's comedy, LIVING WITH FRAN, premiering Friday, April 8 (8:30-9:00 p.m. ET), with a special second episode airing that same night (9:30-10:00 p.m. ET). The announcement was made today by David Janollari, President, Entertainment, The WB.

Drescher stars as Fran Reeves, a divorcée who has found Riley (Ryan McPartlin, Passions), her wonderful, gorgeous and yes, young mid-twenties boyfriend. Their relationship is complicated by the fact that they are sharing a home with Fran's 21-year-old son, Josh (newcomer Ben Feldman), and 15-year-old daughter, Allison (Misti Traya, Huff), but Fran isn't complaining. Her new household may be non-traditional, but as she watches her old life intersect with her new one, Fran is sure this is right where she's supposed to be.

In the second episode of LIVING WITH FRAN, John Schneider and Marilu Henner guest star as Riley's parents. In this episode, Riley is surprised when his parents, Tom (Schneider) and Donna (Henner), come to visit, but not as surprised as Fran, when she finds out that Riley failed to tell his folks about the age difference between he and Fran.

Kicking off the evening of April 8, Drescher and McPartlin make a special appearance in WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET). In this episode, Fran offers Val (Jenny Garth) some practical advice on dating younger men.

LIVING WITH FRAN is from Regency Television with executive producers Bob Myer, Jamie Kennedy and Fran Drescher and co-executive producers David Garrett & Jason Ward, Tim Kelleher and Frank Lombardi.
