"AMERICA'S MOST WANTED" VIEWER TIP LEADS TO CAPTURE OF MAN WHO ESCAPED FROM PRISON AND TOOK ASSISTANT WARDEN'S WIFE WITH HIM
AMW Reaches 835 Captures
Randolph Dial, a convicted murderer who escaped from prison 10 years ago, was captured yesterday while working on a chicken ranch. Bobbi Parker, the assistant warden's wife, who went missing the same day that Dial escaped was also found at the ranch. A tipster saw Dial's picture on the AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK website, AMW.com, and contacted the authorities. This marks the 835th capture as a result of a tip received from an AMERICA'S MOST WANTED viewer. Dial had been serving a life sentence for the murder of a karate instructor when he disappeared from prison with Parker. The story and photo are available on www.amw.com.
Police had considered Parker an endangered missing person, concerned that she had been kidnapped and held against her will by Dial. She had left behind her two children and husband. After her disappearance, she contacted her family twice; both times saying she would come home soon. Dial will return to jail, while Parker was not charged.
AMW has profiled Dial's story on four shows, the most recent being June 19, 2004 (10/8/94, 5/3/03, 11/15/03 and 6/19/04). Tune in on Saturday, April 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), when AMW will air a capture story detailing Dial's arrest.
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK is in its 18th season and airs Saturdays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK is produced by STF Productions, Inc. Lance Heflin is executive producer.
