FOX SPRINGS INTO SPRING THIS APRIL AND MAY WITH FRIDAY-NIGHT MOVIES

Seven-Week Lineup Features World Broadcast Premieres of MAID IN MANHATTAN and SHALLOW HAL

FOX celebrates Spring with a shower of hits this April and May on seven Fridays with blockbuster movies and World Broadcast Premieres, including MAID IN MANHATTAN April 22 and SHALLOW HAL May 20, and featuring the star power of Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez, Adam Sandler, Tobey Maguire, Halle Berry, Jackie Chan and Jack Black.

The hit movie MR. DEEDS airs Friday, April 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). When Longfellow Deeds (Adam Sandler) inherits $40 billion from his deceased uncle, he finds himself besieged by opportunists, all gunning for their piece of the pie. Ultimately, Deeds comes to find that money truly has the power to change things, but it doesn't necessarily need to change him. Winona Ryder, THE O.C's Peter Gallagher and John Turturro also star.

MAID IN MANHATTAN makes its World Broadcast Premiere Friday, April 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Marisa Ventura (Jennifer Lopez), a maid in a first-class Manhattan hotel, meets Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes), a handsome heir to a political dynasty, who believes that she is a guest at the hotel. When Marisa's true identity is revealed, the two find that they are worlds apart, even though the distance separating them is just a subway ride.

On Friday, April 29 (8:00-10:30 PM ET/PT), FOX un-spools the blockbuster science-fiction adventure, SPIDER-MAN. When a genetically engineered spider bites teen science wiz Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) and alters his body chemistry to superhuman spider-like qualities, he ends up having to juggle three things in his life his new job at the local newspaper, his battle against the evil Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and his fight to win the affections of his beautiful classmate, Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst).

Lee and Carter are back in RUSH HOUR 2! Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) and Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) are out to track down a Triad gang lord who may be responsible for killing two men at the American Embassy. The pair soon stumbles onto a counterfeiting plot created by Triad Ricky Tan (John Lone), an ex-cop who played a mysterious part in the death of Lee's father. Throw in a power struggle between Tan and the gorgeous but dangerous Hu Li (Ziyi Zhang), and the boys are soon up to their necks in fist fights and life-threatening situations on RUSH HOUR 2 Friday, May 6 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

On Friday, May 13 (8:00-10:00 PM (ET/PT), FOX calls out the X-MEN, who are a band of unique power-possessing mutants living in a world where their kind is hated and persecuted by humans. Under the guidance of their leader, Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), the X-Men strive for a world where humans and mutants can peacefully coexist, while combating the radical mutants whose intentions are completely opposite. Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Rebecca Romijn and Anna Paquin also star.

In the World Broadcast Premiere of SHALLOW HAL Friday, May 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Hal Larson (Jack Black) dates only physically beautiful women until he's hypnotized by self-help guru Tony Robbins (Anthony Robbins) into recognizing only the inner beauty of women. When Hal meets Rosemary Shanahan (Gwyneth Paltrow), an obese woman whom only he can see as a vision of loveliness, he falls in love. But will their relationship survive when Hal's equally shallow friend Mauricio Wilson (Jason Alexander) undoes the hypnosis?

Jim Carrey stars in ME, MYSELF & IRENE as Rhode Island state trooper Charlie Baileygates, a mild-mannered, devoted and hard-working father of three sons who suffers from schizophrenia. His other half, Hank Evans (also played by Carrey), is a rude, foul-mouthed maniac who drinks like a fish and has no shame. Both alter-egos are in love with a beautiful woman named Irene (Rene Zellweger), who cannot decide which personality to love. ME, MYSELF & IRENE airs Friday, May 27 (8-10 PM ET/PT).
