"AMERICA'S MOST WANTED" WANTS THE PUBLIC TO VOTE FOR AN ALL STAR FIRST-RESPONDER
Viewers Choosing Among Eight Finalists on AMW.COM
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED has teamed up with Nextel Communications Inc. (NSDQ: NXTL) to find an AMW ALL STAR � and they're asking the public to go to AMW.COM to help pick the winner. .
An All Star is a first-responder who exemplifies our nation's best law-enforcement officers, firefighters or EMT personnel. In three weeks of open nominations, more than 20,000 people have visited AMW.COM to nominate All Star candidates or browse the nominees. AMW had the task of choosing just eight finalists out of the thousands of names submitted.
This past weekend WWW.AMW.com posted the finalists � one of whom will be the AMW ALL STAR. Viewers should go to the website to vote for their favorite finalist. All votes must be received by noon Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, May 17.
The AMW ALL STAR will be honored by AMW host John Walsh, who is perhaps the nation's most recognized and respected crime fighter. The All Star also will receive $10,000 from Nextel, as well as a VIP day at the NASCAR Nextel All-Star Challenge.
