"ACCESS HOLLYWOOD" CELEBRATES LANDMARK 10TH SEASON, KICKS OFF YEAR-LONG RETROSPECTIVE PROGRAMMING INITIATIVE

BURBANK, Calif. -- July 25, 2005 -- NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's "Access Hollywood" is entering its 10th season in national syndication and will begin a year-long series of retrospective programming, culminating in a one-hour special to air at the end of the 2005-2006 season, it was announced today by Rob Silverstein, executive producer of the hit entertainment newsmagazine. The 10th season officially kicks off on September 5, 2005.

Over the course of its 10th season, "Access Hollywood" will offer viewers a memorable look back at the show's first ten years, as well as highlights in the world of entertainment over the last decade. The entertainment newsmagazine will also reveal its picks for the top moments and stars of the last decade and will take an in-depth look at the fashion diary of one of its own stars, co-anchor Nancy O'Dell, who has been with the show since its inception.

"I cannot be more proud of all that 'Access Hollywood' has accomplished over the last decade, and during this upcoming season, our viewers will have a front row seat to all the biggest moments and interviews we've had over the years," said Silverstein, a 10-year veteran of the show. "Today, we stand alone as a place viewers can go for not only the most credible and up to date entertainment news, but also a place where they can have some fun in the process. I would personally like to thank each and every member of the 'Access Hollywood' family, which I can say without reservation, is the most hard-working, clever and talented group in the business."

Starting September 5, 2005, "Access Hollywood" will kick off a year-long celebration of its first ten years. Following is a first look at some of the retrospective segments and programming planned in honor of "Access Hollywood's" 10th season on the air:

"Access Hollywood" made its official foray into the entertainment newsmagazine genre on September 9, 1996 from stage 5 at NBC Studios in Burbank, CA. Through an increasingly competitive marketplace and an ever-evolving audience, "Access Hollywood" has managed to thrive and separate itself from the pack by continually keeping its finger on the pulse of pop culture, never underestimating the intelligence of its audience, pushing the envelope when necessary, and most importantly, establishing the kind of relationships that has led to the program's unequivocal dominance in breaking the latest entertainment news.

"Access Hollywood" is taped on Stage 1 at the NBC Studios in Burbank, Calif., where the show is headquartered. Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush serve as co-anchors, and Shaun Robinson and Tony Potts serve as weekend co-anchors and daily show correspondents. Tim Vincent serves as New York Correspondent. The senior production team responsible for "Access Hollywood" consists of executive producer Rob K. Silverstein, senior producer Claudia Eaton, and supervising producers Adam Jordan and Mike Marson. "Access Hollywood's" 10th anniversary programming will be spearheaded by Clay Smith, Senior Special Projects Producer. In addition to the Burbank newsroom of more than 150 dynamic producers, researchers and writers, "Access Hollywood" also maintains a fully staffed New York bureau and has producers and correspondents around the world contributing to its half-hour weekday and hour-long weekend editions. Seen in more than 90 percent of the country, "Access Hollywood" airs on major market affiliates, including the NBC Universal Television owned stations.

"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC Universal Television Distribution.
