Adult Swim Posts 20 of Top 50 Cable Programs of the Week Among Adults 18-34, More than Any Other Ad-Supported Basic Cable Network
Late-Night Network Again Ranked #1 for the Week in Delivery of Adults 18-34, 18-24 and Men 18-34, 18-24
Adult Swim again beat all other ad-supported basic cable networks by charting 20 different telecasts among the top 50 of the week for delivery of adults 18-34, including four programs within the top 10, according to Nielsen Media Research. The late-night network also posted its 17th straight week ranked #1 in basic cable delivery of adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24, as well as its 11th straight week ranked #1 among adults 18-34. Additionally, Adult Swim ranked #4 in delivery of adults 18-49 and #9 in delivery of adults 25-54.
Highlights of Adult Swim�s weekly performance include the following:
ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.)
- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 460,000, with an average 0.7 rating.
- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 272,000, with an average 1.0 rating.
- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 274,000, with an average 0.8 rating.
- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 158,000, with an average 1.1 rating.
- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 591,000, with an average 0.5 rating.
Original and acquired programming both were well represented among the top 50 programs of the week for adults 18-34. Standout series included key off-net acquisitions Family Guy (#3, #6, #10-11, #18, #21, #31) and Futurama (#7, #12, #23, #37), as well as original series Aqua Teen Hunger Force (#16, #22, #26, #32, #36) and Robot Chicken (#19, #27, #29) and Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law (#34).
