The Life & Times of Juniper Lee Hits Stride on Sunday Nights with Significant Ratings, Delivery Increases
Four of Cartoon Network�s best original series each earned double-digit delivery and ratings gains among their target kid demos last week, leading the network�s top franchise FRIDAYS (Friday, 7 p.m.-12 a.m.) to considerable increases across the board, according to Nielsen Media Research. Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends, Codename: Kids Next Door, Camp Lazlo (the network�s newest original series) and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy anchored the primetime franchise with rock-solid performances among all key kid demos.
Highlights of FRIDAY�s showing as well as the individual performances of its top vs. the same time periods last year include the following:
FRIDAYS (Friday, 7 p.m. � 12 a.m.)
- Kids 6-11 delivery (840,000) increased by 22% and ratings (3.5) by 21%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,159,000) and ratings (2.9) both jumped by 12%.
Foster�s Home for Imaginary Friends (7 p.m., new episode)
- Ranked #1 in its time period on basic cable among boys 6-11.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (861,000) grew by 30% and ratings (3.6) by 29%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,167,000) improved by 14% and ratings (2.9) by 12%
Codename: Kids Next Door (7:30 p.m., new episode)
- Ranked #1 in its time period on basic cable among boys 6-11 and boys 2-11.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (889,000) surged by 34% and ratings (3.7) by 32%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,201,000) advanced by 24% and ratings (3.0) by 20%.
Camp Lazlo (8 p.m., new episode)
- Kids 6-11 delivery (830,000) catapulted by 65% and ratings (3.4) by 62%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,120,000) raced ahead by 43% and ratings (2.8) by 40%.
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (8:30 p.m.)
- Kids 6-11 delivery (762,000) mushroomed by 55% and ratings (3.1) by 48%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,053,000) grew by 36% and ratings (2.7) by 35%.
Additionally, Saturday night�s primetime action-anim� programming block TOONAMI charted double-digit growth fueled by new episodes of its original series Teen Titans and Justice League Unlimited. Performance highlights vs. the same time period last year include the following:
TOONAMI (Saturday, 7-11 p.m.)
- Tweens 9-14 delivery (523,000) and ratings (2.1) both bounded ahead by 24%.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (477,000) and ratings (2.0) both rose by 18%.
Teen Titans (8:30 p.m., new episode)
- Ranked #1 in its time period on all television with tween boys 9-14
- Tweens 9-14 delivery (737,000) blasted ahead by 77% and ratings (3.0) by 76%.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (569,000) increased by 37% and ratings (2.3) by 35%.
Justice League Unlimited (9 p.m., new episode)
- Ranked #1 in its time period on all television with tween boys 9-14
- Tweens 9-14 delivery (550,000) improved by 66% and ratings (2.2) by 57%.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (493,000) expanded by 60% and ratings (2.0) by 54%.
Finally, another Cartoon Network original series introduced this spring is finding particular success on Sunday nights: The Life & Times of Juniper Lee. A new episode last Sunday earned significant double-digit growth vs. the same time period last year:

- Kids 6-11 delivery (655,000) and ratings (2.7) both grew by 69%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (919,000) increased by 27% and ratings (2.3) by 28%.
