Adult Swim Posts 15 of Top 50 Cable Programs of the Week Among Adults 18-34, More than Any Other Ad-Supported Basic Cable Network
Late-Night Network Marks Its 19th Consecutive Week at the #1 Spot in Delivery of Adults 18-24 and Men 18-34, 18-24
Adult Swim charted 15 different telecasts among the top 50 of the week for delivery of adults 18-34, more than any of the other ad-supported basic cable networks, according to Nielsen Media Research. The late-night network also posted its 19th straight week ranked #1 in basic cable delivery of adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24. Additionally, Adult Swim ranked #2 in delivery of adults 18-34 and #4 in delivery of adults 18-49.
Highlights of Adult Swim�s weekly performance include the following:
ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.)
- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 390,000, with an average 0.6 rating.
- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 223,000, with an average 0.8 rating.
- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 249,000, with an average 0.8 rating.
- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 156,000, with an average 1.1 rating.
- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 531,000, with an average 0.4 rating.
Both original and acquired series airing on Adult Swim were represented among the top 50 programs of the week for adults 18-34. Acquired series Family Guy and Futurama claimed 4 out of the top 10 spots of programming on ad-supported cable, and original series Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken each ranked among the top 50 programs for the week for adults 18-34.
