Adult Swim Reclaims #1 Ranking in Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-34 Among Ad-Supported Cable
Also Charts 20 Consecutive Weeks at the #1 Spot in Delivery of Adults 18-24 and Men 18-34, 18-24
Building on the strength of its off-net acquisitions and original series programming, Adult Swim once again claimed the #1 ranking among ad-supported cable for total programming day delivery of adults 18-34, according to Nielsen Media Research. The late-night service also ranked #1 in total day delivery of adults 18-24, men 18-24 and men 18-34 for the 20th consecutive week. Adult Swim also charted 15 different telecasts among the top 50 of the week for delivery of adults 18-34, more than any of the other ad-supported basic cable networks.
Highlights of Adult Swim�s weekly performance include the following:
ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.)
- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 382,000, with an average 0.6 rating.
- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 219,000, with an average 0.8 rating.
- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 240,000, with an average 0.7 rating.
- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 148,000, with an average 1.1 rating.
- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 524,000, with an average 0.4 rating.
Both original and acquired series airing on Adult Swim were represented among the top 50 programs of the week for adults 18-34. Acquired series Family Guy and Futurama, along with the original series Aqua Teen Hunger Force, accounted for 8 out of the top 20 telecasts on ad-supported cable.
