FAMILIES REUNITE AND HEROES EMERGE IN THE AFTERMATH OF HURRICANE KATRINA ON THE SEASON PREMIERE OF "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK" SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, ON FOX

On the season premiere, John Walsh and AMERICA'S MOST WANTED travel to the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina in hopes of bringing families back together. Don't miss this compelling episode as AMW helps families reunite with their loved ones whose lives and homes have been ravaged by the devastating hurricane on AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK Saturday, Sept. 10 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

AMERICA'S MOST WANTED rides along with police officers from Charleston, SC, en route to Gulfport, MS, to offer assistance to the local communities affected by Katrina. In addition, Walsh joins the Louisiana State Police armored unit as they patrol the French Quarter and other areas of New Orleans where help is needed most. AMW also spotlights is "hurricane scams," criminals who are using this tragedy to take advantage of the hurricane's victims. In Baton Rouge, a man posing as a medical insurance lawyer asked for financial information to process a claim and ended up cleaning out the victim's bank account. See the unsung heroes of this disaster and find out what everyone should know about scams on the AMW season premiere this Saturday.

AMERICA'S MOST WANTED is hosting a website for viewers to register missing loved ones or check in with their families and let them know they are okay. Viewers can go to http://katrina.amw.com to search the site for family members and friends. AMW has also dedicated its toll-free hotline number, 1-800-CRIME-TV (1-800-274-6388), for people to call and report a missing friend or loved one, let the world know they're okay after Katrina, or check in to see if there are any updates on people they know.
