Last Night's Broadcast Up +35% in Viewers Versus Last Year
"The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards" Scores Its Best Key Adult Demographics Since 2003
CBS's broadcast of THE 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS delivered the most watched Emmy telecast since 2002 and highest rated in key demographics since 2003, according to preliminary Nielsen affiliate based ratings for Sunday, Sept. 18.
From 8:00-11:00 PM, CBS's 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS broadcast was first in households (12.5/20), viewers (18.59m), adults 18-49 (6.0/15) and adults 25-54 (7.3/17).
Compared to last year's event on ABC, CBS was up +33% in households (from 9.4/15), +35% in both viewers (from 13.79m) and adults 25-54 (from 5.4/12) and +30% in adults 18-49 (from 4.6/12).
This is the Emmy's best delivery in households and viewers since 2002 (when the Emmys were on NBC) and in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 2003 (when the Emmys were on FOX).
