"THE 37TH NAACP IMAGE AWARDS" TO AIR FRIDAY, MARCH 3, 2006, ON FOX

SUBMISSIONS FOR NOMINATIONS DUE NOVEMBER 23, 2005

THE 37TH NAACP IMAGE AWARDS will air Friday, March 3, 2006 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The annual awards ceremony is currently accepting submissions for its Film, Television, Recording and Literature categories, whose nominees will be announced at a press conference on Jan. 10.

To be eligible, projects must have a national distribution date between Jan. 1, 2005, and Dec. 31, 2005. All submissions must be received at the Image Awards Submissions Office in Los Angeles by Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at 3:00 PST to be eligible for consideration.

THE NAACP IMAGE AWARDS honor projects and performances by all races promoting images of people of color. Studios, networks, production companies, record labels, publishing houses, publicists, agents, managers and artists may submit nominations.

Submission forms, instructions and a list of categories are available on-line at the NAACP Image Awards website, www.naacpimageawards.net, or information may be requested by calling (323) 935-8207.
