BLOCKBUSTER HOMECOMING FOR WWE ON USA
THE MOST-WATCHED RAW EPISODE IN MORE THAN THREE YEARS
New York, NY-Oct. 4, 2005--The WWE was welcomed home to USA Network in a big way last night when MONDAY NIGHT RAW delivered a knockout punch, making it the #1 program of the night on basic cable and the most-watched RAW program in more than three years.
Monday Night RAW debuted on USA as a three-hour special (7:55-11:13 p.m. ET/PT) with a 4.4 HH cvg rating and 5.6 million total viewers 2+, 2.9 million P18-49 and 2.5 million P25-54. In its regular 9-11P timeslot, RAW averaged a 4.7 HH cvg rating, 3.1 million P18-49s and 2.8 million P25-54s. An average of 6 million total viewers tuned in during the 9-11 p.m. ET/PT timeslot, nearly 2 million more viewers than Spike had last week.
As compared with the final four weeks of RAW on Spike from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT, USA's RAW delivery represents gains of 37% among P2+ (6 million), 31% among P18-49 (3.1 million), and 29% among P25-54 (2.8 million).
MONDAY NIGHT RAW will return to its regular 9 p.m. ET/PT time slot next week.
