The WB's powerhouse Tuesday night lineup continued to attract strong viewership, with week four growth of freshman hit �Supernatural� taking the show to season-best ratings in a number of key demographics, while �Gilmore Girls� again beat all competition in a number of key demographics, leading the network to strong second place finishes for the night in 12-34, females 12-34, women 18-34, and first place rankings in teens and female teens.
At 9:00pm, �Supernatural� and its creepy �Phantom Traveller� episode matched its season-high ratings in persons 12-34 (2.5/7), females 12-34 (3.0/8) and males 12-34 (2.1/6), and achieved new series highs in teens 12-17 (2.7/9) and male teens (2.1/7). The show also built over the prior week in a number of key demos, including a gain of +8% in total viewers (5.4 million), +11% in males 12-34, + 4% in persons 12-34 and +9% in adults 18-49. �Supernatural� ranked #1 in the 9:00pm hour in males 12-34 (2.1/6), and led the time period in teens and female teens.
�Gilmore Girls� continued its stellar sixth season with another strong performance, ranking #1 in its time period in persons 12-34 (2.9/9), females 12-34 (4.3/13), teens 12-17 (3.0/11) and female teens (5.0/17), and finished a strong #2 in the hour among women 18-34 (4.1/12) and adults 18-34 (2.8/9). The show ranked #3 in the time slot among women 18-49 (3.8/10). &ldquoGilmore Girls� posted gains versus the prior week across a number of key demos, including growth of +12% in persons 12-34, +8% in females 12-34, +15% in males 12-34, +4% in adults 18-34, +8% in adults 18-49 and +10% in total viewers (6.0 million) on its way to its best numbers this season since its premiere.
