30-Week Delivery Streak Extends Adult Swim�s #1 Ranking Among Adults 18-24
Adult Swim Also Captures #1 Ranking for Adults 18-34, Men 18-34 Delivery, Ratings Among Ad-Supported Cable
Providing a much-needed humor break from all the sports and weather programming last week, Adult Swim hit a 30-week milestone as the #1 network among ad-supported basic cable for total day delivery of adults 18-24 and men 18-24, according to Nielsen Media Research. The late-night animation block also led basic cable total day delivery for adults 18-34 and men 18-34. Additionally, Adult Swim ranked #5 overall among ad-supported cable networks for delivery of adults 18-49.
Highlights of Adult Swim�s performance last week include the following:
ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday and Saturday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.; Sunday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.)
- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 350,000, with an average 0.5 rating.
- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 221,000, with an average 0.8 rating.
- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 245,000, with an average 0.7 rating.
- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 161,000, with an average 1.1 rating.
- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 483,000, with an average 0.4 rating.
Adult Swim (AdultSwim.com), launched on Cartoon Network in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.�s network dedicated to edgy animated comedy and action series, both original and acquired, airing Monday-Thursday and Saturday from 11 p.m.-6 a.m. and Sunday from 10 p.m-6 a.m. (ET, PT).
