Adult Swim Posts Largest October Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-34, Adults 18-24 and Men 18-24 in Ad-Supported Basic Cable History
Late-Night Service Charts 7 Consecutive Months of #1 Ranking Among Target Young Adult Demos
Adult Swim Also Ranks #6 for October Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-49
Earning a new series of delivery records for the basic cable history books, Adult Swim scored the largest October total day delivery ever of adults 18-34 and 18-24, and men 18-24 among all ad-supported basic cable, according to Nielsen Media Research. The performance officially ranked Adult Swim #1 among all its network competition in October, charting seven consecutive months of top earnings for its target audience of young adults. In addition to these achievements, the late-night service also earned the #6 ranking among all basic cable networks for quarterly delivery of adults 18-49.
Highlights of Adult Swim�s October performance include the following:
ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.)
- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 362,000�a new October record for ad-supported basic cable�and an 0.5 rating
- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 213,000�a new October record for ad-supported basic cable�and an 0.8 rating
- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 246,000 and an 0.7 rating
- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 146,000�a new October record for ad-supported basic cable�and a 1.0 rating
- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 486,000, with an 0.4 rating
On an individual programming basis, Adult Swim scored four of the top 50 programs with adults 18-34 for October among ad-supported basic cable�all presentations of Family Guy. Additionally, the service scored seven of the Top 50 programs for the quarter with men 18-34, which included presentations of Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Futurama.
