Halfway through the Nov. 2005 Sweep, critically acclaimed comedy EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS saw double-digit week-to-week increases in UPN's target demos of adults 18-34 (24%, 2.1/6) and women 18-34 (19%, 2.5/7), scoring its best ratings in 3 weeks, based on preliminary Nielsen ratings for Nov. 17. CHRIS was also up +4% in women 18-49 (2.4/6) and held 100% of last week's audience in viewers (5.3mil) and adults 18-49 (2.0/6).
CHRIS continues to provide UPN with a dramatic year-to-year boost in the time period of 24% in adults 18-34, 18% in adults 18-49, 108% in women 18-34, 100% in women 18-49 and 4% in total viewers.
CHRIS topped "Alias" and "Smallville" from 8-8:30PM in women 18-34.
Based on Local People Meter data, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS remains a competitive force in key major markets. Among adults 18-34, CHRIS was second in its time period in Chicago (3.4/12-tie), Philadelphia (4.7/11) and Washington DC (2.9/9).
CHRIS was second from 8-8:30pm among adults 18-49 in New York (3.2/9), Philadelphia (4.4/10) and Washington DC (3.6/10-tied), behind only "Survivor." CHRIS also beat "Alias," "Joey" and "The O.C." among adults 18-49 (2.4/7) in Chicago.
Climbing to its best ratings since 10/13/05 in viewers and key demos, LOVE, INC. improved dramatically over last week in viewers and all key demos, including 60% in adults 18-34 (1.6/5), 36% in adults 18-49 (1.5/4), 33% in women 18-34 (2.0/5), 20% in women 18-49 (1.8/4) and 32% in viewers (3.7mil).
EVE and CUTS combined to beat the WB's "Everwood" in the target demo of women 18-34.
EVE also saw week-to-week ratings gains in key demos, including 18% in adults 18-34 (1.3/4), 9% in adults 18-49 (1.2/3), 6% in women 18-34 (1.8/5) and 11% in viewers (3.1mil).
CUTS scored its second largest audience of the season (2.8mil).
Versus the same night last year, UPN's new comedy block scored dramatic growth in women 18-34 (67%, 2.0/5) and women 18-49 (50%, 1.8/4).

Halfway through the Nov. 2005 Sweep, UPN's Thursday comedy block gained steam, rising to the best Thursday in a month (since 10/13/05) in viewers (3.8mil), adults 18-34 (1.6/5), adults 18-49 (1.5/4) and women 18-34 (2.0/5), based on final Nielsen ratings for Nov. 17.
