THE ABC ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION GROUP�S CASTING DEPARTMENT PRESENTS ITS ELEVENTH LOS ANGELES ACTORS SHOWCASE
18 Actors to Perform for Industry and Network Executives on December 7
As part of its continuing effort to find and develop culturally and ethnically diverse talent and actors with disabilities, the ABC Entertainment Television Group�s Casting Project will hold its latest showcase featuring promising actors. The showcase, the eleventh held in Los Angeles, will take place at the El Portal Theatre Center for the Arts, 5269 Lankershim Boulevard, in North Hollywood, California on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7.
Spearheaded by executive vice president of Casting Keli Lee, executive director of Casting Ayo Davis, director of Casting Randi Chugerman and the Los Angeles and New York Casting Departments, the showcase is produced in partnership with AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists Guild), East West Players, Media Access, Nosotros, the Robey Theater and SAG (Screen Actors Guild).
�This is an exciting opportunity to put on display some of the fresh and untapped talent that exists in America today,� Ms. Lee said.
Eighteen actors were selected from among more than 600 candidates who auditioned. Casting directors, talent agents and other industry professionals will view a series of one-act vignettes performed by the actors and directed by Ted Sluberski, Marilyn Tokuda and William Savage. The showcase is not open to the public.
The talented actors to be featured are Mark Antani, Sunkrish Bala, Brandon Barash, Rich Ceraulo, April Nichole Ennis, Matt Ferucci, Jaclyn Gutierrez, Franz Latten, Katrina Law, Paola Manacho, Shi Ne Nielson, Erin Pineda, JR Ramirez, Eugene Shaw, Jamil Z. Smith, Ray Stoney, Vonet Woods and Alain Uy.
