LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 -- E! Entertainment Television is unveiling a new red carpet supreme team for the Network's 2006 coverage of the Golden Globe(R) Awards, it was announced today by Ted Harbert, President & CEO, E! Networks. Ryan Seacrest, Isaac Mizrahi and Giuliana DePandi will spearhead the Network's unprecedented star-studded presence on the red carpet on Monday, January 16, for this year's "Live from the Red Carpet Golden Globe(R) Awards" coverage from the site of the annual ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

"E! has established itself as the world's top destination for red carpet coverage," said Harbert. "We are always expanding our coverage to give viewers what they want most - more celebrities, more fashion and more interviews during awards season. This year, with Isaac, Giuliana and our newest E! star, Ryan Seacrest, fans will get TV's absolute best Golden Globes(R) coverage and commentary."

The Network's all-star hosting trio are primed to deliver fans what is easily television's most comprehensive pre-show Globes(R) coverage. Seacrest, who also serves as executive producer for "Live From the Red Carpet," will paint a vivid picture of the festivities from his strategic tower perch. Mizrahi works his irresistible charm on arriving nominees and celebrity guests from the Network's main platform on the red carpet. DePandi joins Mizrahi on the carpet to chat up the stars on their way into the Beverly Hilton's International Ballroom for the awards (which air on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/PT, tape-delayed to the West Coast).

The Network that turned walking the red carpet into a television main event, E! is without peer as a Golden Globe(R) coverage destination, taking viewers behind the scenes for all of the preparation that goes into awards night while offering a first-look at the evening's fashionable red carpet runway. The Network will blanket the area with 17 live cameras to capture every buzz-worthy moment, including aerial coverage and E!'s exclusive fashion camera right alongside the still photographers. With its new on-screen look and all-star trio of hosts, viewers won't miss a thing with simultaneous coverage of interviews, fashion, celebrity arrivals and more.

Before E!'s main red carpet event, "E! News" reporters Samantha Harris and Jason Kennedy, in tandem with "Fashion Police" co-host Bobbie Thomas, will be joined by E! Online's Ted Casablanca and Kristin Veitch for the six-hour "Live Countdown Golden Globe(R) Awards," premiering from 12 Noon - 6:00PM ET (LIVE)/PT (Tape Delayed). Also joining the Network's "Countdown" coverage are Chris Harrison ("The Bachelor"), The live show will take viewers behind-the- scenes for all of the preparation that goes into Awards night, as well as offering a first-look at the evening's fashion parade and interviews with early celebrity arrivals.

"Live From The Red Carpet Golden Globe(R) Awards," with Mizrahi, Seacrest and DePandi premieres on Monday, January 16, from 6:00PM - 8:00PM ET (LIVE)/PT (Tape Delayed) from the Beverly Hilton.

E!'s coverage continues with the two-hour "Live Post Show Golden Globe(R) Awards" special, premiering from 11:00 PM - 1:00 AM ET (LIVE)/PT (Tape Delayed), which will take viewers back stage as the winners sit down in the one-on-one interview room, and later that evening as they step into the night's most exclusive parties.

The Network's Golden Globe(R) coverage continues the following day with the one-hour "Fashion Police," premiering on Tuesday, January 17, at 8:00PM (and again at 10:00PM ET/PT).

Isaac Mizrahi currently hosts the daily one-hour talk show, "ISAAC," on Style Network. Upon graduating from the High School of Performing Arts, Mizrahi went on to study fashion at the Parsons School of Design. In 1987, Mizrahi established his first clothing business, which he closed in 1998. During this time, he received three CFDA Designer of the Year awards. Mizrahi has designed costumes for movies, theatre, dance and opera in collaboration with Mark Morris, Twyla Tharp, Bill T. Jones and Mikhail Baryshnikov. In 2002, he received the Drama Desk Award for his costume design for revival of the classic Broadway play, THE WOMEN. In 1995, Mizrahi was the subject of the highly acclaimed documentary UNZIPPED. In 1996, he received a special CFDA Award for bringing the fashion world to cinema. Most recently, he has expanded into home, launching a home collection for Target in February 2005.

Giuliana DePandi joined E! as a news correspondent in 2002, covering a variety of stories and events for E! News. DePandi now serves as co-anchor for E! News, and covers the red carpet for the Network's signature Awards coverage, ranging from the Primetime Emmys(R), Golden Globes(R), Grammys(R), SAG(R) and Academy Awards(R), as well as movie premieres. Born in Naples, Italy, DePandi first realized her dreams of becoming a television journalist at age six after moving to Washington, D.C. with her family. Unable to afford a language tutor, she learned English by watching television before enrolling in the public school system.

Ryan Seacrest has zoomed to the top of the media industry in record time. Beginning as host of mid-1990s kids TV shows "Gladiators 2000," "Wild Animal Games" and "The Click," Seacrest became widely recognized for his #1 Los Angeles afternoon radio show on Star 98.7, "Ryan Seacrest for the Ride Home." In the summer of 2002, he shot to international fame as the host of America's runaway hit TV show "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar." In January 2004, Seacrest took Casey Kasem's place as host of the weekly syndicated radio program "American Top 40," and began hosting a second version of the popular program in December. Most recently, Seacrest took over as host of the morning show at Los Angeles radio station 102.7 KIIS FM, and this year will join Dick Clark as co-host of the "Rockin' New Year's Eve" celebration, live from Times Square in New York. He recently received a Star on the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame.
