ABC NEWS AND AOL NEWS TO FEATURE LIVE BLOGGER AND �TRUTH SQUAD� ANALYSIS FOR STATE OF THE UNION

ABC News and AOL News today announced �The People�s State of the Union,� an interactive news campaign that will feature a live ABC News blogger and �truth squad� analysis on AOLNews.com. The campaign will also allow viewers to contribute text and video comments on their reaction to the State of the Union and the Democratic Response, with select portions airing throughout ABC�s State of the Union coverage on ABC News programs, ABC News Now, ABCNews.com and AOLNews.com.
Online visitors can now submit text comments to www.aol.com/news and video segments from cell phones and other wireless devices to www.abcnews.com. ABC News anchors will answer viewer questions through video responses, which will be posted on ABCNEWS.com and AOLNews.com, and commentary by AOL users will also run on a ticker on ABC News programming and ABC News Now.

Additional features include ABC News and AOL online surveys on the economy, Iraq, taxes, healthcare and other domestic and international issues. ABC News will provide updated results of the survey throughout the State of the Union coverage.
On ABC News Now, ABC News� Sam Donaldson will host a special edition of �Politics Live� with live coverage of the State of the Union and the Democratic Response, including political analysis, guest appearances and live remotes from ABC News anchors. ABC News Now is available to subscribers through ABCNEWS.com and the AOL.com website.
The �People�s State of the Union� kicks off ABC News Now�s new line of viewer-generated programming, �Seen and Heard in America,� that will continue to involve public participation in the news process.
