BURBANK � February 1, 2006 � NBC adds some heat to the run-up of its exclusive coverage of the Winter Olympics with several nights of attractive entertainment programming in February. Front and center will be a night of funny Valentines on February 9, special episodes of "ER" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," a two-hour episode of "The Biggest Loser: Special Edition" -- and guest stars that include James Woods, Rebecca De Mornay, Mandy Moore, Christine Taylor, Taye Diggs, Hall & Oates, Kathleen Turner, Ally Walker, Betty Buckley, NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson and Adam Goldberg.

On Thursday, February 9 -- the final night of NBC's entertainment series programs before the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics from Torino, Italy, on Friday, February 10 � the network offers a funny Valentine to viewers. Featured will be a new two-hour block (8-10 p.m. ET) of original comedy episodes from "Will & Grace" (with guest star Diggs), "Four Kings," "My Name Is Earl" (with guest star Taylor) and "The Office."

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2

WILL & GRACE (8-8:30 p.m.)
"I Love L. Gay"

A CHANGE OF VENUE; TAYE DIGGS GUEST-STARS - Will (Eric McCormack), Karen (Megan Mullally), a star-struck Grace (Debra Messing) and Eliot (Michael Angarano) travel to Los Angeles so that Eliot can check out UCLA as a possible college. Coincidently, Will runs into James (guest star Taye Diggs, "Kevin Hill") while in L.A., but to his surprise, James is Canadian -- and in jeopardy of being deported. After spending a perfect weekend together, Will and James find that they don't have to say goodbye to each other again when Grace makes a special proposal.

FOUR KINGS (8:30-9 p.m.)
"The Elephant in the Room"

ELECTED GAY -- Ben (Josh Cooke) is excited to be working on the campaign of the local Democratic candidate and asks Bobby (Shane McRae) to accompany him to a campaign function. When Barry (Seth Green) spots Jason (Todd Grinnell) at a restaurant dining out with another man, the guys jump to the conclusion that Jason is gay. They confront him and Jason adamantly denies it, but admits he is hiding something from them -- that he's a Republican. Ben is outraged to discover that Jason is working on the campaign of the opposing candidate and questions how they can be such good friends with such drastically differing beliefs.

MY NAME IS EARL (9-9:30 p.m.)
"Something to Live For"

MY SAVING GRACE; ADAM GOLDBERG GUEST-STARS - Earl (Jason Lee) takes his car troubles as a sign that it is time for him to redeem himself for a long run of stealing gas out of a complete stranger's car. A few months back, Earl and Randy (Ethan Suplee) siphoned gasoline from an unlock car in the trailer park. When Earl goes back to the trailer park to return the gasoline, he discovers that the owner, Philo (guest star Adam Goldberg, "A Beautiful Mind") is an annoying and suicidal man who is more determined than ever to succeed with his suicide attempts. A determined Earl makes it his duty to give Philo a reason to live and he sets him up on a date with Joy (Jaime Pressly). Earl and Randy, however, find that something else they provide will ultimately save Philo. Nadine Velazquez and Eddie Steeples also star.

THE OFFICE (9:30-10 p.m.)
"Boys and Girls"

MICHAEL OFFERS SOME 'MALE BONDING' -- When Jan (Melora Hardin) visits the office to conduct a "women in the workplace" seminar with the female Dunder Mifflin employees, Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) takes the guys down to the warehouse for some "male bonding." Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, B.J. Novak and Rainn Wilson also star.

ER (10-11 p.m.)
"Body and Soul"

A LONG GOODBYE; JAMES WOODS AND ALLY WALKER GUEST-STAR-- When a wandering ALS ("Lou Gehrig's disease") patient arrives at the ER, many of the doctors are shocked when they recognize the former medical school professor (guest star James Woods, "Ghosts of Mississippi"). Abby (Maura Tierney) and Kovac (Goran Visnjic) try to understand Dr. Lennox' wishes for his life after the professor is struck with pneumonia as well as the nerve-degenerating disease. As his condition deteriorates, Abby struggles with the possibility of losing her beloved professor. After a controversial decision to perform a trake procedure to help Dr. Lennox breathe, Abby and Fran (guest star Ally Walker, "Profiler") wonder if they made the right choice. Mehki Phifer, Parminder Nagra, and Linda Cardellini also star.

Among the mass exodus of people leaving for safety, Miles (Carter Jenkins) and his family scramble to make it off the island. Meanwhile, Laura (Lake Bell) travels to North Carolina to find Rich (Jay R. Ferguson), who has been arrested by military police at the mysterious laboratory. As employees hurriedly vacate the building, Rich is locked up in a cell and left to die.

LAS VEGAS (9-10 p.m.)
"Urban Legends"

FAST TIMES AT THE MONTECITO -- The Montecito hosts a car show, and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver Jimmie Johnson guest-stars as himself when he comes to Las Vegas to act as celebrity judge. During his stay, he receives plenty of attention from Mary (Nikki Cox) and Delinda (Molly Sims), who make it clear how much they would love to go for a ride. Meanwhile, an urban legend comes to life when Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Mike (James Lesure) enter one of the hotel rooms to discover a man missing a kidney lying in a bathtub full of ice. Sam's (Vanessa Marcil) newest whale comes with a unique problem -- sweaty palms -- and to deal with him, she must teach Ed (James Caan) the ropes of being a casino host.

"A Changed Man"

WILL ALLISON'S CONCUSSION CHANGE HER? -- When Allison (Emmy winner Patricia Arquette) slips in the bathtub, she gets a minor concussion that has a major impact on her visions. Jake Weber, Miguel Sandoval, David Cubitt, Sofia Vassilieva and Maria Lark also star.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7

FEAR FACTOR (8-9 p.m.)

FREAKS VS. GEEKS 'FEAR FACTOR' -- It's the freaks vs. the geeks in this special episode of "Fear Factor." First, the teams must work together to complete a helicopter and jet-ski stunt. Then, the couples will be challenged to pass objects mouth-to-mouth while inside a glass box with frogs and alligators. Finally, the teams will launch four-wheelers off of a pier � and the team that completes the stunt in the least amount of time wins $50,000. This week's home invasion takes viewers to Hunstville, Alabama. A new feature this season, host Joe Rogan will travel all over the country challenging people to "Fear Factor" stunts right in their own home for the chance to win a $5,000 Capital One credit card.

J.D. IS INTRIGUED WITH A CLUMSY NEW LOVE INTEREST; MANDY MOORE GUEST-STARS -- J.D. (Zach Braff) is introduced to quirky Julie Quinn (guest star Mandy Moore, "Entourage") and love is in the air -- but worried that J.D. will once again screw up the budding relationship Elliot (Sarah Chalke) doles out effective romance advice. Meanwhile, Carla (Judy Reyes) questions Dr.Cox' (John C. McGinley) tough exterior and is convinced that the sarcastic doctor is really a softie. Elsewhere, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) puts together an air band to win a contest. Donald Faison and Ken Jenkins also star.

"Her Story II"

LOVE IS NO LAUGHING MATTER; MANDY MOORE RETURNS TO GUEST-STAR -- J.D. (Zach Braff) becomes annoyed that new girlfriend Julie (Mandy Moore), doesn't laugh, but instead always tells him when things are funny. Afraid that he is going to mess up yet another relationship, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) encourages J.D. to start expressing his feelings out loud -- and Turk (Donald Faison) tries to use his psychology background to fix the issue. Meanwhile, Carla (Judy Reyes) is upset when the Janitor (Neil Flynn) refers to the new nurse as a "hot young Carla," increasing her growing concern that she is too old to conceive. John C. McGinley and Ken Jenkins also star.

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (10-11 p.m.)

TWO STRIPPERS ARE MURDERED, BUT WAS THE PRIME SUSPECT FRAMED? REBECCA DE MORNAY, CHRIS POTTER AND BETTY BUCKLEY GUEST-STAR -- When the body of a young woman is found murdered in her apartment, Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) discover she's a successful attorney -- and a stripper too, which is apparently unknown to both her fianc� and her boss, Tessa McKellen (guest star Rebecca De Mornay). Later, tape from a student film crew reveals the victim was with Linus McKellen (guest star Chris Potter), Tessa's husband -- whose sperm was found in both the victim and her friend and fellow stripper, also found murdered. It's also revealed that the killer entered both apartments from outside windows, leading detectives to suspect the crimes could also be tied to Tessa's corporate work. Dann Florek, Richard Belzer, Ice-T, B.D. Wong, Diane Neal and Tamara Tunie also star.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8

BIGGEST LOSER: SPECIAL EDITION (8-10 p.m.)

'THE BIGGEST LOSER: SPECIAL EDITION'-- ENGAGED COUPLES -- In this special two hour episode of the "The Biggest Loser," engaged couples Bruce and Kimmi from Los Angeles will go head-to-head with Nick and Lael from Hawaii for the chance to win a $50,000 dream wedding. Both couples will be will struggle to complete their wedding cake challenge. Before going home after just 12 days at the ranch, each couple will have to weigh in for the chance to win a honeymoon vacation. In the second hour, both couples head home to continue the lifestyle changes that they learned from trainers Bob and Jillian before their return to the ranch for their final weigh in.

DID EFFECTS OF A.D.D. MEDICINE CAUSE STUDENT TO STRANGLE ANOTHER AT MAGNET SCHOOL? KATHLEEN TURNER GUEST-STARS AS HIGH-POWERED ATTORNEY � When Detectives Fontana (Dennis Farina) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) investigate the strangling of a promising Hispanic student at a private magnet school, they soon learn the victim was selling test answers and term papers for other students -- including Greg Loomis (guest star Jaime McAdams), a trouble-prone senior who claims the effects of his Attention Deficit Disorder medicine made him commit the crime. After Loomis' arrest, A.D.A. Sam McCoy (Sam Waterston) spurns any deal with his high-powered attorney Rebecca Shane (guest star Kathleen Turner, "Body Heat") but has to overcome her vigorous defense that her client was a victim of the medication's side effects. Annie Parisse, S. Epatha Merkerson and Fred Dalton Thompson also star.

"The Definition of Marriage"

LEGENDARY RECORDING ARTISTS HALL & OATES GUEST-STAR WITH TAYE DIGGS -- The big day has finally arrived as Grace (Debra Messing) and James (guest star Taye Diggs, "Kevin Hill") get ready for their green-card wedding. To Grace's dismay, Karen (Megan Mullally) takes it upon herself to ignore her wish for a low-key wedding ceremony and decides to arrange a huge affair instead including hiring the legendary Hall & Oates singing duo to perform "Maneater" at the ceremony. As the ceremony gets underway, it seems that Grace's body begins to have an unusual reaction leaving James' U.S. citizenship in jeopardy. Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes also star.

FOUR KINGS (8:30-9 p.m.)
"Follow the Money"

ESCORTING TROUBLE -- Jason (Todd Grinnell) gets a huge job opportunity when his boss puts him in charge of converting a low-income housing building into luxury condos. In addition, Ben (Josh Cooke) decides to pitch the redevelopment story to New York magazine in a fit of desperation at his dead-end writing career. His assignment to write an expos� on the tenants' forced eviction leads to a large rift between the friends. Meanwhile, Bobby (Shane McRae) befriends an elderly woman in their apartment building who begins paying him for his friendship. When he recruits Barry (Seth Green) to do the same for one of her friends, Barry realizes that his date expects more than companionship.

MY NAME IS EARL (9-9:30 p.m.)
"The Professor"

KARMIC REVENGE AS CHRISTINE TAYLOR GUEST-STARS -- On their way to return a stolen laptop, Earl (Jason Lee) and Randy (Ethan Suplee) knock over a bus stop sign, and Earl promises an elderly woman that he'll fix the sign after returning the laptop -- but he's sidetracked by the computer's owner, the beautiful college professor Alex Meyers (guest star Christine Taylor, "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story"). When Alex takes a keen interest in Earl and his list, the two begin dating, but Earl can't help but notice that he is constantly the target of bad accidents and random acts of violence. At first he chalks it up to plain old bad luck. Then Earl remembers that he has yet to fix the bus stop sign and decides that karma is punishing him for causing people to miss the bus every day. Meanwhile, Randy embraces collegiate life and begins pledging a fraternity. Nadine Velazquez also stars.
