USA STARTS FEBRUARY OFF AS #1
NEW YORK, NY � February 7, 2006 - USA Network began February as the #1 basic cable network among households (2.2 rating), P18-49 (1.1 million), P25-54 (1.2 million) and total viewers (2.6 million).
USA continued to demonstrate that brand strength plus powerhouse franchises is a winning combination, with the compelling characters of WWE's MONDAY NIGHT RAW and MONK helping both shows rank as three of the top five basic cable prime telecasts of the week among P25-54.
� Among P18-49, the telecasts of WWE's MONDAY NIGHT RAW at 10p (2.8 million) and 9p (2.7 million) on Monday were the top two basic cable prime programs of the week. The WWE's 1Q06 delivery (to date) on USA surpasses WWE's 1Q05 (to date) delivery on Spike, with WWE's delivery on USA up +13% among households, up +16% among P18-34, up +7% among P18-49, up +4% among P25-54 and up +14% among total viewers.
� USA's hit original series MONK was once again the most-watched basic cable prime scripted original series telecast of the week among P25-54 (2.4 million).
USA was the most watched basic cable network on more nights last week than any competitor, ranking #1 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday among P18-49, and #1 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday among P25-54. USA also increased its ratings over the same week last year (1/31-2/06/05), gaining +16% in households, +12% in P18-34 delivery, +7% in P18-49 delivery, +6% in P25-54 delivery and +18% among total viewers (Live+SD vs. pre-DVR data).
